Kevin Bolland wins the 2004 Cavalcade Title

MODIFIEDS: Rex King survived a slide job from Kevin Bolland to lead all the way and win the final western PA Modified race of the season held at Sharon Saturday. The $2,000 win was King’s second big score in as many weeks. Although Bolland didn’t win the battle, he did win the war by clinching the Cavalcade title over Andy Priest. The pair went into the race with Bolland leading by just three points, but winning by seven.  Ron Smoker came back from a lap 13 flat tire to finish third. There were 26 cars on hand with Smoker the only out of town driver.
